Operation Strategy:

Our strategy is built to support our client to get easy, smooth and high quality services either for transit Suez Canal and/or calling To any Egyptian port. Therefore, we follow the next steps to get our client's satisfaction:

1) Enquiry Procedures: Check the ship's Suez Canal Net tonnage with Suez Canal Authority records to reach to an accurate S.C.Net and Showing SDR rate against US Dollar in order to quote accurate figures. But for ships' calls, calculation will be according to the ship's GRT and official tariff.

2) Nomination Procedures: Our Operation Department starts its role through contacting Master and Owner for accurate ETA and Sends e-mail with pre-arrival information [arrival notices and registration, convoys, mooring ropes - mooring boats and projector…etc].

3) Pre-arrival Procedure:
Our Operation Department provides the ship operator with detailed information for transit and/or calling:

Limit time for convoy and which convoy the ship will join according to her ETA Port Said or Suez. [Ships arriving after limit time can be allowed to join the convoy against additional dues of 3, 5 or 10 % of transit dues according to Rules of Navigation Art. 50]
Who will visit the ship from Authorities, all the required documents, (ISPS) information for Port Said and Suez.
For transit vessel, deposit a bankers draft in USD for the cost of Canal Dues with Suez Canal Authority [before 24 hours of arrival ].
Register all vessels whether transiting or calling in Suez Canal Authority and Port Authority and arrange custom formalities for Bunker, lubricant and crew change, security team and weapons… etc.

4) Arrival Procedures: When the vessel arrives, Atlas will be on board through our representative to assist the Master with all details and Check all visitors' formalities and requirements to create peace of mind to Master.

5) After Departure Procedures: Atlas has an Accounts Department supported by high experienced accountants and fully computerized, Thus our accurate disbursement account issued through 30 days. All documents are supported by official invoices of all Authorities (Suez Canal, Ports & Light, Quarantine… etc.) And translated into English and send to our valuable customer by courier.
